St. Patrick's Day Art Competition
The Consulate General of Ireland New York has once again launched
its St. Patrick’s Day – Lá Fhéile Pádraig
(Law Ay-la Pawdrig) Children’s
Art Competition, which is open to all children between 6-16

The Consulate has designed this competition to encourage children
in the New York area and the neighbouring states of New Jersey,
Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to further
the knowledge and understanding of the story of St. Patrick/Naomh
Pádraig (Nave Pawdrig) and his cultural significance
to Ireland, and to encourage children to reflect on the meaning of
St. Patrick’s Day as well as the depth and breadth of Irish culture
and traditions in the United States and around the world.
